Precision work at the heart of the beverage industry
Replacing a ball bearing slewing ring is a specialised task that Schneider Montage regularly carries out in the beverage industry.
The challenge often lies in the confined space, surrounded by machines and conveyor belts. The heavy upper section of a filler carousel has to be lifted precisely to replace the worn bearing. As cranes cannot usually be used here, we erect a customised lifting frame made of heavy-duty supports and beams. The accuracy of this scaffolding is crucial for the safety of the process.
Safety through precision: expertise in silo repair
Aluminium silos have to bear enormous loads. An intact shell is crucial for the statics. In the event of damage, for example due to mechanical impact or negative pressure, we, Schneider Montage, intervene immediately.
We pull out dents, reinforce the silo wall and ensure lasting stability. The TIG welding process guarantees maximum precision, even when subsequently reinforcing heavier products. Our solutions are safe and reliable, regardless of whether the silo is upright or repositioned.
Special assembly chipper motor
We developed an innovative solution to mount a 3.5-tonne chipper motor under a silo, which is located in an area that is difficult to access and obstructed.
Our team designed and manufactured a customised transport and assembly frame that enabled the engine to be installed precisely and safely at its destination.

Concrete staircase safely repositioned
A call for help from a private customer presented us with a particular challenge: a three-tonne concrete staircase had been installed in the wrong position. By that time, the roof had already been completed and the crane was no longer available. Our solution was to construct a lifting frame using our specially developed heavy-duty supports, robust beams and suitable clamping technology. Chain hoists enabled us to raise the staircase safely, while trolleys allowed it to be moved sideways with precision. Once lifted, the staircase was additionally secured against lowering, giving the construction company sufficient time to remove the original support and build a new one. After the new support had been completed, we raised the staircase again, moved it precisely into its intended position using the trolleys and safely lowered it into place.
